Class Schedule
The late Penny Simkin’s classes have been a staple in the Pacific Northwest for over 50 years. Penny’s long-time assistant, Katie Rohs, began teaching for Penny in 2021, and is thrilled to continue Penny’s legacy of practical, evidence based childbirth education. Katie has been a doula and childbirth educator for over 10 years, and is overjoyed to carry Penny’s wisdom forward to expectant families.

Eight week comprehensive series for families planning on birthing at home or in a free-standing birth center with a licensed midwife, in conjunction with families planning a hospital birth.

Eight week comprehensive series for families planning a birth in a hospital such as Swedish First Hill or University of Washington Northwest. Includes breastfeeding and newborn care. Registration link will direct you to the Parent Trust website.
